The stretcher on this Two-Wheeled Litter is a “Furley” design with telescopic handles, not extended when used with the under-carriage.    For the comfort of a casualty being transported a distance by this means, an awning or hood and apron were available for attachment

A leather belt pouch with basic essentials worn with uniform.     This particular pouch is dated 1917 but the contents are believed to be from the 1930’s.

A tourniquet with ‘St John’ insignia stamped on the strap  –  not supplied or used by St John Ambulance for many years
